Pietre is a performance and a workshop.

'Pietre’ belongs to study on being and standing, a study on what we forget day by day, a research on transformation; being ductile and malleable like soul, heavy and apparently immutable like a stone…  ‘Pietre’ is a study on who I am, hard and breathless, with a stiff and cold body, I smile and ambulate, but stoned inside. I fall down and forget the pain, I trundle, hiding my wounds, pretending that a stone doesn’t bleed, that a stone doesn’t breath…

“Also stones can breath, if we watch them through a mirror. Each stone is a deceptive act of love, each stone is a bird  fallen and dead on the battle field, every stone is the ballast of which  I’m  fed from birth, it’s that food that fills me gently, swallowing anything, swallowing stones. I am a stone , a creature with skin covered with fears and resistances ”.

Through the body, the voice, and the presence, we will live the moment;  every gesture express a lot more than words.  We will  give oureselves the possibility to act without thinking, to feel without judging, to be present with astonishment.  We will move our body, listening to what spontanuosly comes out, from the beauty, to our monsters, just improvising and enjoying.  We will dance the opposites:   speed and slowness, harmony and distortion, birth and death, matter and form, fullness and emptiness.   We will explore the different possibilities of our body, subjected to Gravity and its inner desire of Flying, just letting it flow. Pietre is a workshop open to everybody. You don't need special skills just your will to be present.
